This flagship product is what really got Kiwi’s Terpicals going. I experience chronic pain and most days it’s critical to have something that helps soothe my discomfort.
This salve was created to relieve symptoms for all those who suffer from aching muscles or joints. After many experimental concoctions, I finally came up with this indispensable product that meets all my needs. It smells great, doesn’t leave a sticky residue on your skin like some muscle rubs do, and provides me with unparalleled relief.
All you have to do is massage it in where you’re hurting and experience localized relief. The relaxing warmth of Cayenne is followed by the cooling tingle of Menthol Crystals, creating a salve that has both heating and cooling effects. These properties combined with all the other ingredients result in this final product which has been said to help soothe a variety of physical problems.
This salve comes in a 2 oz glass jar that you can easily scoop salve out of to apply. I recommend warming the skin prior to application as this helps to open pores and increase absorption rate. It’s also a good idea to use an applicator or wash your hands before dipping them in to preserve the life of your salve.
Salve All Your Problems has a base of Beeswax from Oregon bees, Cocoa Butter, and a multitude of carrier oils and herbal infusions, plus a final blend of essential oils that all come together to create this incredibly sumptuous salve.
Castor Seed Oil is known to increase blood circulation and has been used topically for decades as an anti-inflammatory. Arnica Montana is also known to help treat inflammation and bruises. Combined, they create a marvelous elixir that helps to relieve pain and stimulate healing in the body. Coconut Oil has wonderful restorative and hydrating qualities. The infusion of the Cayenne Pepper adds capsaicin which depletes substance-p from the sensory nerves and prevents transmission of pain signals to the brain. Calendula has been used for centuries as a medicinal herb; it is known to increase circulation to the area where it is applied and supports healthy skin. Comfrey contains allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other properties that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Roman Chamomile has been shown to have a calming effect on skin and the nervous system, as well as anti-inflammatory and anti-itching properties. Each of these herbs and oils add to the overall effectiveness of the salve.
The final step in the process is to incorporate my unique blend of essential oils including Clove Bud, Peppermint, Camphor, and Ginger. These essential oils are useful for more than just smelling nice or making your food taste good. Each of these herbs can act as a powerful healing agent. Clove Bud is used in many trades from cooking to dentistry. I use it here because of its high concentration of the terpene, Eugenol, which has anti-inflammatory and anesthetic qualities. Peppermint Oil is a common ingredient in many healing applications; it has been shown to help reduce inflammation, soothe pain, and create a cooling sensation that is so remedying to aching muscles. Camphor too has many medicinal properties; here the dominant terpene is Cineole which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Ginger is widely known for its spicy kick when added to drinks or food, but in this salve it also adds an anti-inflammatory property that can work to reduce pain caused by muscle aches and arthritis. Ultimately, each of these ingredients along with seven other essential oils, included in various amounts, work in harmony to create a healing balm that will Salve All Your Problems.
