The Rockaway Beach Festival is the perfect event for everyone, young and old. Come out to enjoy this annual spectacle where the skies are filled with color and dreams of flight. A sight that will bring a smile to every face. Kite enthusiasts are also encouraged to bring their own kites to fly. In addition to the incredible kites of all sizes, the festival also features some amazing live music, kite exhibitions, an array of incredible vendors and artisans, and tasty meals all weekend. Alberta Street Fair

The 21st Annual Alberta Street Fair is Saturday, August 11, 2018. The Fair offers an eclectic mix of activities and events showcasing the best of the Alberta Street community including entertainment, music, vendors, food and drink for people of all ages.

Hosted by Alberta Main Street, the event continues to be one of Portland’s most beloved neighborhood street festivals, drawing more than 25,000 people annually. Please consider walking, biking or taking public transportation to The Alberta Street Fair. The Alberta Street Fair is a free community event benefitting Alberta Main Street. A suggested $2 donation supports building a vibrant, creative, equitable, and sustainable Alberta Street. Donations are accepted at the information booth, the beer gardens, or you can make your donation online here.

Fairyblossom Festival: Midsummer Games is the annual competition between the Seelie & Unseelie Fairy Courts!  Which team will you be on??

Join in our zany Faerie games such as the Midnight Wild Hunt & Flowr-bomb War. Root for your favorite sword swinging Knight, drink Terrible Tea with the Goblins, barter your Faery Coyne with the Goblins.  Join a drumming circle and dance around the Balefire!

The Bizarre brings music, crafts, and food to the crowds attending the St Johns Parade, now in its 56th year. After the parade, the entire six block area of the business district in the St. Johns is closed to traffic, and filled with over 90 juried craft vendors, several stages for music, great food, and tons of games and activities. It’s an amazing community event with something for everyone. The event is free.
