Part of the reason that I started to make my own products is because I think that it is important to know exactly what is going on to and into your body. After a lot of research, I was able to find a handful of companies from whom I source the ingredients that go into my products. This page is a reference for you, my customers, so you can see exactly what is going onto your body,
Mountain Rose Herbs
This is where I source my carrier oils and other bases, as well as most of the dried herbs that I use.
Mountain Rose Herbs is a company that is committed to doing business right, from product quality and sustainable packaging, to fair trade practices. I share in their core belief that people, plants, and planet are more important than profit, and appreciate the knowledge that they share through their products and blog.
Florihana
This is where I source my Essential Oils, and some carrier oils, imported from Provence, in the heart of the French Rivera.
Florihana Distillery has very environmentally friendly policies, and uses organic farming practices throughout its 25 acre farm. They distill their own oils nestled in the heart of something close to 2500 acres of wild lavender, thyme, and more.
Essential Depot
This is where I source my butters, some carrier oils, and some of my containers.
Essential Depot is dedicated to ensuring that all of their products are sustainably sourced, ethically produced, with the smallest carbon footprint they can.
These are the places where I get most of my supplies from, but if you would like to know anything about any of the individual ingredients in any of the products, please feel free to let me know, I would love to answer your questions.
